Sunscreen breakdown

Link: How Stable Is Your Sunscreen? - Journal Watch Dermatology.
Don't rely on sunscreen alone to protect you from the sun's UV rays. According to these researchers, some products are subject to degradation by the sun. In particular, products with 5-octyl methoxycinnamate seemed to fall apart quickly when exposed to sunslight. This compounds another problem: most people use only about one third as much sunscreen as they really need.
Thanks to my friend Jill for this one.
