Low fat diets and breast cancer recurrence

Link: Study of Breast Cancer Patients Finds Benefit in Low-Fat Diets - New York Times.
This is a good synopsis of the study, released yesterday, about low-fat diets in women recovering from breast cancer. Is a low-fat diet a magic bullet for breast cancer patients? Probably not, but it looks like cutting fat consumption may help some women, and there's some suggestion in the data that women with estrogen-receptor negative tumors may stand to benefit the most. But even if it's not a magic bullet, a low-fat diet probably has other health benefits, too.
