Link: Gemcitabine And Capecitabine Improved Overall Survival In Patients With Advanced Pancreatic Cancer.
Data on combination therapy with the drugs gemcitabine (Gemzar) and capecitabine (Xeloda) in patients with pancreatic cancer were reported at the European Cancer Conference. The investigators believe that they documented an improvement in survival with these agents used in combination. As you probably know, pancreatic cancer is particularly vile and kills most of its victims within 6 months. Watch for updates.
